Below are answers to our most frequently asked questions. Please, reach out if your questions is not covered. 

What type of steel do you use? 

Unless stated otherwise, my favorite steel to use is 80CRV2. This steel offers excellent edge retention and what it lacks in corrosion resistance it makes up for in toughness. The surface will patina with time and use and will rust if not cared for properly. If corrosion is a concern, I can offer a durable Parkerized finish. 

Warranty

I take great care in creating each knife. I offer a lifetime warranty on the knife blade when used and cared for under appropriate situations. I include a "knife care" checklist with each order. I do not cover the blade material when used beyond standard activities (leaving in the weather, using for non-cutting activities, etc) or if knife is neglected (left in the weather, not appropriately cleaned after use, or allowed contact with corrosive materials or liquids). Warranty is void if cleaned in the dishwasher. I offer a limited warranty on handle material. Repair or replacement is at the maker's discretion. Shipping

We currently ship either first class or priority, with tracking, depending on shipping time and costs. Standard shipping is included in the purchase price of the knives. Each knife shipment includes tracking. If you would like to add additional services, such as guaranteed priority shipment, additional insurance, or signature confirmation, please contact us for shipping cost.

In-stock knives and supplies ship within four business day. We do not ship on weekends or holidays. 

Custom knives ship upon completion. Shipping time estimates will be discussed during the initial custom knife email confirmation.
