Introducing the “Sage Hen”
One of the larger bird and trout knives in my line up, coming in at seven and a half inches overall with 3” of razor sharp edge.  From cleaning birds and fish to camp chores or processing biggame meat this knife can get a lot done for its size. 
The Sage Hen’s Handles are a little fuller than my usual knives, and it offers a surprisingly comfortable three finger grip that just melts into the palm of your hand.
The blade is made from hand sanded  52100 bearing steel and takes a very keen edge.
I had a lot of fun building the handles, the front half is a combination of green burlap micarta and tan canvas micarta, while the back is bourbon barrel stave, accented with black liners. I wanted to go for a vibe that reminded me of the country you find this knife’s name sake in. 
Comes with a kydex pocket sheath.
