I wanted to make a kitchen knife that drew a direct connection to the birds we hunt yet not make it gimmicky, I decided the best way to achieve that connection was with feather pattern damascus and I couldn't be more excited about the results!
This knife is 12" overall with a 6.5" feather Damascus blade in the diamond grind style, which helps with food release as you are chopping vegtables. The incredibly comfortable handle is some amazing stabilized spalted maple burl that came from a tree on our property. To set the burl off are some lovely pewter colored liners. The tang has been taper ground, and the blade is distally tapered giving the spine a diamond profile which keeps most of the weight in the middle for a perfect balance in the hand making this knife feel alive! This is one knife you won't want to put down!
Included is a special sharpening strop I designed just for kitchen knives to help you keep the knife's edge freakishly sharp!
